This is an original 1928 halftone print of the Merced River at Happy Isles in the Yosemite National Park in California, USA. It is known for it's granite cliffs, waterfalls, clear streams, Giant Sequioa groves and biological diversity. A band of Native Americans called the Ahwahneechee lived in Yosemite before anyone had settled in it. The California Gold Rush increased viewer ship of this beautiful area.
