Clarence Scott White

Clarence Scott White (1872-1965) was an American artist hailing from Boston, Massachusetts. He studied under the famous Charles Woodbury, and was most known for his paintings, fresco murals, illustrations and mosaics. His works primarily center on marine and nautical, landscapes, mountains, portraits, coastal views and animal subjects. WhiteÕs art has been exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and more. Later, he was affiliated with the Boston Art Club and the Society of Independent Artists.
