This is an original 1929 black and white halftone print of a group of people that live in the gipsy (gypsy) quarter in the city of Granada, Spain. Granada is located in the region of Andalusia and is home to the famous Alhambra palace that was built by the Moors in the 14th century. The gypsies arrived about 600 years ago and their mixture with the culture of the Moors helped develop Flamenco dancing in Spain.
