This is an original 1929 black and white halftone print of a decorative piece depicting the ancient Egyptian pharaoh King Tut, also referred to as Tutankhamun, and his wife in a palace chamber. This artwork was found in the tomb of King Tut. The background was crafted of sheet gold, the garments of silver, the human skin of reddish glass, and the ornamental details of brightly colored stones or glass. The queen, daughter of Ikhnaton, is holding a perfume flask in one hand as she adjusts Tut's collar with the other. At the top of the design is a symbol of Ikhnaton's god, the sun.
