This is an original 1930 black and white print ad for the Hercules Powder Company, located in Wilmington, Delaware. The company, a subsidiary of Du Pont, began as an explosives company primarily serving the military and the mining industry. The company later diversified its services and products greatly, and now specializes in chemicals and other materials utilized in pharmaceuticals, paint, food, paper, adhesives, construction materials and more.
