This is an original 1931 two-color collotype of detail from Italian medieval artist Simone Martini's Mastà, which depicts both the Virgin Mother and the Christ Child.

The Maestà (Majesty) is a term used to describe late Medieval and early Renaissance art in which the Virgin Mary is enthroned with the Christ Child as Queen of Heaven, surrounded by saints and angels.
