Gary Cooper (1901-1961) He was a struggling newspaper cartoonist before making it into pictures and he became one of the most beloved of American film actors. Some of his many films include: The Winning of Barbara Worth (1926), Wings (1927), It (1927), The Virginian (1929), Only the Brave (1930), Mr. Deeds Goes to Town (1936), Meet John Doe (1941), The Pride of the Yankees (1942), For Whom the Bell Tolls (1943), Good Sam (1948), and High Noon (1952) for which he won an Oscar. This print is from Farewell to Arms (1932).
