1935 Print Roosevelt Three Mast Auxilary Schooner Arctic Exploration XGP2

This is an original 1935 halftone print of the Roosevelt , a heavy three-masted schooner designed specifically for Arctic exploration. She had no bowsprite, so that her head-sails were all inboard to be reefed and furled if needed. She was captained by Bob Bartlett, who was accompanied by polar explorer Robert Peary
