This is an excellent original 1941 six-color Lithograph of a native of Dutch Guiana also referred to as Netherlands Guyana or Dutch Guyana, located in South America. Their traditional costume consists of a tea-length skirt generally decorated with intricate designs and patterns and handmade jewelry.

Period Paper is pleased to offer a collection of halftone prints and color lithographs of traditional Latin American costumes and national dress by the artist, Jolanda Barta. Printed on a special heavy paper stock, the images include a short descriptive caption by Dorothy Gladys Spicer. Please note that the lithographs are hand-produced by the artist. In excellent condition, these detailed and colorful images would look fantastic framed.
