This is an original 1941 duotone photolithograph of a sanguine drawing from "Los Caprichos." Goya was a Spanish romantic painter and printmaker regarded as the last of the Old Masters and the first of the Moderns. The submersive and imaginative element of his art, as well as his bold handling of paint, provided a model for the work of later generations. Photo courtesy of The Hispanic Society of America
