This is an original 1941 color print of the Douglas A-20-A. The caption begins, "The light bomber is a development of the 'attack' type, bigger, more powerful, and with a new name. Its mission is to work with ground troops against enemy tanks, gun emplacements and troop concentrations, and so on. It often operates only twenty or thirty feet from the ground-- whence its nickname, the 'grasscutter.'" Photography by Mike Roberts.
