This is an original 1941 halftone print titled, "The Amusements of a Young Girl," originally painted in 1915. Shown in the image is a leather glove, spools of thread, and a box titled, "Ferrara Ass."

Giorgio de Chirico (1888-1978) was a pre-Surrealist and Surrealist painter born in Volos, Greece. He founded the art movement, Scuola Metafisica, and is known for his metaphysical and dreamlike images. De Chirico won much praise for his works, and is remembered for his early paintings from 1909 to 1919.
