This is an original 1941 black and white halftone print that depicts several coins from the Hellenistic period.

1. Seleucus Nicator, of which there were very few coins in his likeness. The majority were struck on the reverse of his son's coins, Antiochus I, while Seleucus was still alive. 2. Ptolemy Soter, who was a general under Alexander the Great until he became Pharaoh of Egypt. 5. Demetrius Polircretes, a slightly idealized portrait. 4. Antiochus I, son of Seleucus Nicator. 5. Philadelphus and Arsinoe, brother and sister portrayed posthumously by Philopator.
