This is an original 1945 monochrome halftone print of American soldiers unloading supplies and vehicles from supply ships at Normandy, France, in 1944. Less then a week after the beachheads were secured, over 100,000 tons of supplies and over 50,000 Allied land vehicles had been unloaded.
