In 1847-48, Father Caspar Rehrl, with thirty members, established the parish of St. Louis Catholic Church in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. In 2005, the building was closed due to the merging of Fond du Lac parishes into one parish Ñ Holy Family Parish.
