This is an original 1950 black and white halftone print of an edict that was written on lemon yellow paper in Chinese and in Uygur. The Imperial seal would be in red and there is a decorative border around the edge that contains clouds and dragons. This edict is dated the year 1452 and in it the Chinese Emperor King-Tai orders Yang Lirghi, the Prince of the Lar City, to send different kinds of silks to Turkey.
