This is an original 1951 color tipped-in print of a self-portrait of the artist Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres (1780-1867) in 1804. Ingres was born in France and is known for his Neoclassical style paintings. He considered himself to be a painter of history, but was also known for his portraits.

This 60+ year old Item is rated Near Mint / Very Fine. Light aging throughout. Light creasing. Minor print defect - bottom right corner. No surface rub. No tears. No water damage.
