This is an original 1952 halftone print of an ex-Marine turned trumpeter who performed with his band, the Jimmy Phillips Combo in Nebraska. His drummer was Don Lincoln, and his other musicians were Jimmie LeRiche, Milli Grierson, Norm Smith, Vic Parra, Jim Koser, and Bernie Edwards.
