A native of Houston, Texas, Simon studied at Atlanta University and the Art Institute of Atlanta. Her works have been exhibited at Atlanta University, the Brand Library of Art and Music in Glendale, California, the UCLA Associated Students Lounge, the Los Feliz Jewish Community Center, among others. Her works are included in Collections of the National Archives, Carnegie Institute, Howard University Gallery of Art, Atlanta University, Spellman College, Clark College, Paine College, Girls Club of America, Chicago University, University of Maryland, Atlanta High Museum of Art, University of South Alabama, UCLA Art Galleries and others. Simon has also been affiliated with the Girls' Clubs of America, the Church Women United, the First Congregational Church of Atlanta, Emory University School of Nursing, the Alliance Guild, Atlanta Artists Club, YWCA, The High Museum of Art, Georgia Arts Council, the Atlanta Arts Festival and others.
