This is an original 1967 three-color woodcut of "La Calle" by John Wilson.

A native of Boston, Massachusetts, Wilson stuided at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Tufts University, Fernand Leger's School in Paris, Instituto Politecnico in Mexico City, Esmeralda School of Art in Mexico City and Escuela de las Artes del Libro in Mexico City. Later, Wilson taught at the Boris Mirski School of Modern Art in Boston, the Boston School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Pratt Institute and Boston University. His works have been exhibited at the Boston Public Library, Smith College Museum of Art, the Library of Congress, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Atlanta University, Carnegie Institute, Bezalel Museum in Jerusalem, Howard University, Wellesley College and many more.
