This is an original 1883 black and white wood engraving of a landscape in Japan. What is interesting about this piece is that it was originally created for a series called Edo Meisho Zue and was illustrated by Hasegawa Settan's ukiyo-e or wood block prints and served as an early travel guide to the most famous places in Edo (modern Tokyo).
