This is an original 1917 black and white halftone print that depicts two unique views of the ill-fated Greely expedition (also referred to as the Lady Franklin Bay expedition). Although the majority of his men died from exposure, starvation, and drowning, Aldophus Greely and five others were eventually rescued.
