This is an original 1925 lithograph of the architectural interior designs from the Eagle Tavern in Haverhill, Massachusetts, circa 1810 - 1818. This illustration shows a collection of images of a window, mantelpiece, column-style wall framework, all with a geometrical floral design. Haverhill is a historical American location for it was the stage for parts of the French and Indian Wars and both the American Revolutionary and Civil Wars.

Period Paper has obtained a rare collection of large-format architectural lithographs produced by the Metropolitan Museum of Art (The Met) in New York City with the help and interest of Mr. R. T. H. Halsey. This collection specifically contained measured drawings of woodwork that were exhibited in the American Wing of The Met, and the hope behind the publishing of these pieces was to help inspire and aid architects, designers, and artists in their architectural creations. The artist of this collection was Mr. H. W. Waldron Faulkner, who was born in Stamford, Connecticut, in 1860, and who passed away in the Washington District of Columbia in 1940. He was most active in his career in Washington, Connecticut, and was best known for his artistic renderings of interior and exterior architectural designs.
