This is an original 1873 black and white in-text wood engraving of an illustration by William Bromley (1769-1842) that portrays a Drum-Major of the Royal Welch Fusiliers 23rd Regiment of Foot of the British Army standing alongside the regimental goat, (traditionally named Billy), during a celebration feast on Saint David's Day during the Victorian era.
