1906 Print Myles Birket Foster England Countryside Landscape Cows Cattle XAT7

This is an original 1906 black and white halftone print of a scene in the countryside that we believe is from somewhere in England. The original sketch in this print was created by Myles Birket Foster (1825-1899) who was an English watercolor artist and illustrator. He was born in North Shields, England, to a Quaker family. Foster was apprenticed to a wood engraver named Ebenezer Landells in London and worked as an illustrator for books and periodicals. He is also known for his landscapes which he painted as he traveled throughout Europe.
