This is an original 1895 black and white steel engraving of a portrait of Allen O. T. Breed, who first came to Wisconsin in 1835, and erected the first frame street on East Water Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Breed was the first dealer of general goods in the area. He also served as justice of peace in Wauwatosa for several years.
