This is an original 1906 black and white intaglio print of General Charles FranÇois Dumouriez, a military commander and member of the Secret du Roi (Secret Service), during the French Revolution. He saw the revolution as a time to advance his career and he joined the Jacobin party. He later died in England on March 14, 1823.
