This is an original 1907 tipped-in color print of a life study of a young man. The original was created by Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn. Rembrandt was a Dutch painter and etcher. He is considered one of the greatest printmakers in European art history and the most important in Dutch history. His contributions to art came in a period of great wealth and cultural achievement that historians call the Dutch Golden Age. Note: the moderate surface rub is believed to be glue from when the piece was placed on the page before coming to our care.
