This is an original 1908 halftone print of the Blackwell's Island Bridge of New York during its time of construction; right after the image was taken, Mayor Sullivan, Samuel J. Bloomingdale, Hiram C. Bloomingdale, Irving I. Bloomingdale and Joseph H. Myers crossed the structure.
