This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of a pageant in Calcutta (Kolkata), India, and dancers in Bikaner, india who performed for the Prince of Wales. The caption for the bottom image writes, "Indian belles who danced for the Prince at the state banquet given in his honor at Bikaner, India. There was scarcely a feature in Indian life which was not exhibited for the entertainment of the heir to the throne. He on his part was warmly appreciated, and his winning personality went a long way toward stimulating the loyalty of the people of India to the British Crown."
