This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of the devastation of the Knickerbocker Theatre in Washington, D. C. after a large blizzard hit on January 27-28, 1922. The caption for the bottom image writes, "United States Marines and firemen of Washington digging in the debris of victims of the Knickerbocker Theatre collapse, many whom were buried beneath the ruins for the entire night."
