This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of the American funeral for the unknown soldier of World War I. The top image shows the 59th Infantry in the hall of Chalons-sur-Marne, and the bottom image shows the coffin being carried at Havre, France to be placed onboard the
Olympia for burial at Arlington National Cemetery.
