This is an original 1927 black and white halftone print of the commune of Auxerre which is located in the region of Burgundy, France, in the Yonne department. The Auxerre Cathedral (Cathedral Saint-Etienne d'Auxerre) can be seen rising above the city. This Gothic church was built between 1215 and 1233 over a crypt that was built in the 11th century.
