This is an original 1931 halftone print of the Citadel and Alabaster (Muhammad Ali Pasha) Mosque in Cairo, Egypt. This Ottoman mosque was originally erected around 1830, though it was not completed until 1857. The architect who designed the mosque was Istanbul native, Yusuf Bushnak.
