This is an original 1936 halftone print of Jimmy Mason working for Keeshin Transcontinental Freight Lines, Inc. at the Chicago, Illinois terminal. The caption writes, "120 drivers take orders from him. He is Jimmy Mason, terminal superintendent, and he sits in this noisy cubicle from 6:30 A. M. until the last truck has pulled out for the highway late at night. He makes out the routes, assigns trucks and drivers, handles the aggravations and crises of freight-terminal operation with steely equanimity."
