This is an original 1939 black and white photogravure of St. Giles protected a doe by Charles "The Hammer" Martel. It was originally painted by the mysterious Franco-Flemish painter known as the Master of St. Giles in a Late Gothic manner very reminiscent of Netherlandish works during that time.
