This is an original 1944 color print of the neck and bulb of a cathode-ray tube being welded together at the Philco Corporation (the Philadelphia Storage Battery Company). The company was also known as the Spencer Company and as the Helios Electric Company. It was an early pioneer in both radios and television sets.
