This is an original 1950 sepia photogravure of Lake Kami which is close to Estancia Harberton, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, South America. The town was established in 1886 by Thomas Bridges (1842-1898).

The Tierra Del Fuego (Land of Fire) is separated from the rest of Argentina by the Strait of Magellan and was first inhabited by the Selk'nam Indians about 10,000 years ago.
