This is an original 1953 black and white halftone print of a variety of antique 17th, 18th and 19th century Icelandic home decor, clothing accessories, furniture and more. The originals of numbers 1, 4, 10, 11, 14, 15, 19-22, and 24 were held in the Outdoor Museum in Lyngby, near Copenhagen, while the originals of numbers 2, 5, 9, 12, 13, and 16-18 were held in the Danish Folk Museum in Copenhagen. 1. 1823 headboard with legend. 2. Late 19th century belt ornament with gold and sequin embroidery on velvet. 3. 18th century (?) wood carving. 4. 17th-18th century metal copy of a copper horse harness part. The original of this item was held in the Museum of Meykjavik in Iceland. 5. Late 19th century gold filigree work on velvet. 6.-8. Early 19th century wood carving. 9. and 17. 18th-19th century brass belt buckle. 10. 17th-18th century part of a brass horse harness. 11. 1701 carved wood spoon holder. 12. and 16. Part of a silver belt in the old tradition style. 13. 19th century belt buckle with silver and filigree work. 14. Late 18th century small cabinet door with painted ornamentation. 15. Circa 1750 laundry roller. 18. Late 19th century silver belt. 19. 19th century (?) headboard. The original of this item was held in the Museum of Reykjavik. 20. Circa 1700 pine wood cupboard. 21. and 24. 18th century pine wood cupboards (2). 22. 18th century small pine wood chest. 23. 18th century (?) small wooden box.
