This is an original 1897 black and white halftone print of "The First Plyon of the Temple of Medinet-Habu, the Façade Looking Into the First Court. Drawn by Faucher-Gudin, from a photograph by Beato." The Mortuary Temple of Ramesses III, commonly referred to as the Medinet Habu, is an important structure of the New Kingdom period. Located on the West Bank of Luxor, Egypt, the Temple is well known for the inscribed reliefs of the reign of Ramesses III.
