This is an original 1953 color print of a variety of German and French housewares. The originals of numbers 1-4, 6, 7, 10, 16 and 17 were held in the Augustine Museum in Freiburg, Breisgau, while the originals of numbers 5, 11, 12, 14 and 15 were held in the Historical Museum of the Palatinate in Speyer. The originals for numbers 8, 9, 13, and 18 were held in the State Museum (Castle Museum) in Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. 1. 1883 large bowl, native to Black Forest, Germany. 2., 3., and 16 Circa 1800 large earthenware platter, native to Black Forest, Germany. 4., 6., 17. 18th century plates (2) and bowl with cover, native to Alsace, France. 5. 1736 plate thought to be of the Rhenish Palatinate of Germany. 7. 19th century large jug, native to Black Forest, Germany. 8., 9., and 13. 18th-19th century coffee or milk jugs (3), native to Unterschüpf, Lauda, Buchen, Odenwald, Germany. 10. Circa 1800 small earthenware mug, native to Black Forest, Germany. 11., 14., and 15. Pots in the tradition of Marburg ceramics (No. 2 dated 1834), native to Hassloch, Palatinate, Germany. 12. 19th century small jug, native to Palatinate, Germany. 18. Circa 1800 plate, native to Mosbach, Baden, Germany.
