This is an original 1953 black and white halftone print of a variety of antique 18th and 19th century Norwegian, Swedish and Danish housewares, home furnishings and more. The originals of numbers 1, 4, 5, 9, 11, 12, 14, and 18 were held in the Danish Folk Museum in Copenhagen, while the originals for numbers 2, 3, 6, 7, and 13 were held in the Norwegian Folk Museum in Bygdöy. The originals of numbers 8, 10, 13-17, and 19 were held in the Nordic Museum in Stockholm. 1. and 18. 1833 handle in a horse shape and middle part of a multicolored laundry roller, native to Copenhagen, Denmark. 2. 18th century patterned laundry board, native to Hallingdal, Norway. 3. Painted laundry roller handle, native to Telemark, Norway. 4. and 9. 1794 and 1798 painted multicolor washboards (2), native to Fünen, Svendborg, Denmark. 5. Early 19th century painted laundry board for a child, native to Amager, Denmark. 6. and 7. 18th century (?) horse yokes, native to Hallingdal, Norway. 8. and 16. 1763 and 1776 laundry boards (2), native to Bohuslän, Sweden. 10. Early 19th century laundry board, native to Östergötland, Sweden. 11. 1793 painted laundry board, native to West Jütland, Denmark. 12. 1799 multicolored painted laundry board, native to Sorö, Zealand, Denmark. 13. 18th century horse yoke ornament, native to Nordenfjeldske, Norway. 14. 1797 multicolored painted ball playing board, native to Amager, Denmark. 15. 1729 Swedish laundry board. 17. 18th century horse yoke, native to Angermanland, Sweden. 19. Like No. 17, native to Härjedalen, Sweden.

This 58+ year old Item is rated Near Mint / Very Fine. Light aging throughout. Light creasing. No natural defects. No tears. No water damage. Please note there is a very minor surface disruption on the bottom of this print.
