This is an original 1927 black and white print ad for aviation and marine paints and varnishes that were made and sold by Edward Smith & Company during the Roaring Twenties era. The ad also features illustrations of the Fokker F. VIII or Fokker Trimotor flown by American aviator Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd, Jr. of the United States Navy (USN), the Fokker F. VIII Trimotor that was flown by Lt. Lester J. Maitland (1899-1990) of the United States Army Air Corps (USAAC), and a Vought O2U Corsair biplane.

This 86+ year old Item is rated Very Fine ++. Light aging throughout. There is light bleedthrough on this piece from the verso. Some light surface rub. Small hole - right margin.
