1922 Rotogravure Glider Airplane Klemperer Berlin Aero Club Historic Aviation

This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of several glider airplanes. The top image shows Klemperer's glider, which won first place in a competition in Roehn, Germany (Deutschland), after soaring for 21 minutes. In the circular image, a Berlin Aero Club plane is seen, and the center left image shows a German glider in a farm field. The bottom image shows a birdlike glider built by Mr. Schwerdt, which also performed at the contest in Roehn.
