This is an original 1861 black and white steel engraving of the Basilica of Sant'Ambrogio (Tomb of St. Abrose) in Milan, Italy. This church is one of the most ancient churches in Milan and was built by St. Ambrose in 379-386, in an area where martyrs of the Roman persecutions are buried.
