Chesterfield

In it's printed advertising, Chesterfields are best known for the heavy use of celebrity cameos—Lucille Ball, Humphrey Bogart, Bing Crosby, and Bob Hope had all promoted the tobacco brand in the 20th century.

Before Ronald Reagan was the governor of California or the United States President, he was a spokesman for Chesterfields, and was featured in their advertisements throughout the 1930s and 1940s. These advertisements have innately become collectibles.

Chesterfields were named after a county in Virginia and launched in 1873, and although the brand has become relatively extinct in America, Chesterfields are still popular in Europe.
