This is an original 1941 duotone photogravure of the dome of L'Hôtel national des Invalides (The National Residence of the Invalids) which is located in the city of Paris, France. It was originally a retirement home for war veterans, but it now houses several museums and is the burial site of Napoleon Bonaparte, Emperor of the French.

Please note: There is printing on the verso. Please also note that there are two thin lines in both the top right and bottom right margins.

Geyer, Harold C.

Harold C. Geyer (1905 - ?) was born in Cold Springs, New York, and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Yale University in in 1930. A few years later, he traveled to France in order to study medieval architecture and created many illustrations of the places he found and came to love in that country.
