The company was founded around 1853 by John Jacob Bausch and Henry Lomb; It became most popular when the company's Ray-Ban brand of sunglasses hit the market. The ad features a wicked illustration of wizards playing with the powers of crystal.

This 81+ year old Item is rated Very Fine +. Moderate foxing and aging. Small crease - top left corner. No natural defects. No surface rub. No tears. No water damage. There appears to be some acid blemishing from previous adjacent ad, present in image, somewhat visible in digital image.
