This is an original 1945 halftone print of a family returning home from the Douglas Aircraft plant in Los Angeles, California. The family moved to the area during wartime to help with the war effort. The caption writes, "In the next year about eight million workers all over the country will be getting together their goods, wiring up their old crates, and starting back where they came from. They all hope there will be no depression there this time, and nearly all have money to spend if there isn't."
