This is an original 1935 color print of the interior of a building at Mount Kisco, New York. The caption writes, "The propriety of the goldfish is not required of the occupants of this well-glazed chamber. Architect Edward D. Stone's glass bricks admit upon designer Deskey's furniture and owner Mandel's guests sun without sight." Mount Kisco is a village located in Westchester County, and was established in 1875.
